Last April 2011, Merle Snow- President of PDCOR & Shining Jewel Event Planning, and her friend Caroline Ader organized a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser to help their friend Anna Lin from Taiwan with her medical bills, because she has no health insurance. She was a breast cancer survivor then diagnosed with throat cancer. The event was a success through the support of PDCOR, and volunteers. Special thanks to the De Sio Family (Grace, Virgil & Nanay), Villegas Family, Henry Family, Sansone Family, Rafael's Family, and other friends who supported the event. We could not have done this without your support. God has truly blessed you all with good hearts. If we continue to work together, we can do great things and achieve miracles. One of the important missions of the Philippine Dance Company of Rochester is to help a local cancer patient with her treatment, and to those in need, through their "Friends In Need" meal delivery service. Cancer treatment survival is 90% willpower. Without the positive support from friends and family, and keeping your stress levels low, your chance of survival drops to zero. We who have been through this trial ourselves know the importance of this, and have been blessed with our families and such good friends. God is good.
